The rumour on Tunde Onakoya...
Goodmorning, champ!
On May 17th 2023…
Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon for 93 hours and 11 minutes. She recently celebrated it this year with a 5-day anniversary celebration.
And I mean after that we did see a lot of people pop up to try and win different Guinness World Records…let's not forget Coach Dami😅
That's what happens when you pave the way for others or you set a particular milestone and show others what is possible.
If you had gone to meet a random person on the road before Hilda did it and told them.
“I would like to cook for 5 days non-stop”….I'm very sure they will have thought you to be a very crazy person.
But then it reminds me of one of my favorite quotes ever.
“It’s how crazy everyone thinks the idea is, until someone goes on to execute it.”
Every milestone, innovation, life changing discovery was made by someone trying to break the status quo or hit a personal goal or milestone.
Who would have ever thought a Nigerian…Tobi Amusan would have become the world fastest human in the women's 100m hurdles with 12.40 secs.
Then there's someone I love so much…Tunde Onakoya
Breaking the GWR for a chess marathon and playing chess for about sixty hours non-stop at the iconic Times Square in New York City.
And I mean these people aren't super humans or have a specific kind of superpower. Unless you've been spreading a rumour that they are superhumans actually
They're just people who knew they could go the extra mile and really went the extra mile to achieve what they wanted.
So today it must not be jumping the Red Sea or swimming across River Niger. Just set a little goal that moves you forward and take action to execute it today and see how happy you feel after that.
See ya tomorrow
