What's your fondest childhood memory?

Tell me the best one

Goodevening, champ!

There's a land not too far away, Umi city!!!  You can count on us to save the day, Umizoomi!!!

Chances are you finished the lyrics for me. If you didn't, why don't you know joy? And if you did… a bad guy through and through.

Uhhh…uhhh…uhhh Break it down…play it straight Go back and don’t hesitate when you go big time…ohhh ehhh ohhh….What you know..what you feel

Did you finish this too? If you did you deserve a nice celebration today

Today's celebration makes me nostalgic of my childhood memories, permit me to talk peacefully while you listen?

When we were younger, Children's Day came with a lot of emotions. I would iron my shorts till the gator line could sharpen my pencil. Let's not talk about how white my socks would be, or the designs I'd burn into my shirt with my brown Cortina shoes… fond memories i know.

Those days used to be the most simplest of our times, I mean the only thing bothering me a day to May 27th would be getting to be “right-hand marker” during match pasts. Or having going to Mr Biggs after the day’s activities to get ice-cream with my mum.

But did you know we could still feel that way?

It might be Monday, but it's still children's day, and I for one would not part with this title till I've found that joy and peace lost from my childhood.

Granted the calm nature then was because we were shielded from the struggles. But right now we're are smack dab in front of our problems, I'd like for you to do somethings for me;

  • Start the week like the preparation for children's day match past

  • Ignore your problems once in a while (what could possibly go wrong?)

  • Don't ignore your problems for too long. No vex

  • Seize the day, no matter how perilous it may be.

You might be an adult now, but don't you think of coming back home from school, and seeing that house that lets you know if there's light at home. And once you get home and find your mom in a good mood that means you have more time to watch TV after your homework.

So today have a wonderful day and do something beautiful for the children in your life.

Just like the adults did for you.

Your boy.
