Why Are Goodbyes So Painful?😢

Hello, dearest friend!

How can you bade farewell, without shedding tears?

It feels so painful writing this because goodbyes are painful, but farewells are necessary as it help in reliving the experiences and memories shared. A solution to this would have come handy during the final plenary for NTS Enugu ‘23. It was painful seeing the end of four days of laughter, smiles, bonding, networking, and happiness with people from different part of the country, coming to an end.

Why are good things always short? We wished it was longer. The emotions were pure and the goodbyes were painful, but what option do we have? It was sad seeing the friends, and acquaintances we have made over the course of four days leaving in a short time, and amid the hugs, cheers, and laughter, the final farewell, it never occurred to us that we won’t be having Okpa as breakfast this morning, or that Chair’s cheerful opening and closing plenary will come to an end, or the thought that Kunle’s boisterous character that filled the room won’t be in our faces today, or that AIESECers that made NTS a great experience will be back at their respective universities and places of endeavour reliving the moments shared in Enugu. Everything was perfect until the end.

On Tuesday, 24th October, this year’s AIESEC National Training Seminar ended with a tour of the beautiful Ngwo Pine Forest and waterfall. It was beautiful, best experienced than imagined. We hope you experience the next conference because the writer of this newsletter enjoyed NTS Enugu, and can’t wait for the next conference. Don’t cry too much, read and reread your sugar cubes, and use that to hold body.

Special shout out to the Conference Committee for making the conference a great experience. We can’t thank you enough. MC Triskelion, and AIESEC In Enugu thanks for everything and to AIESEC In Enugu, we are the MVPs. 🏅

We would love to read, and share your NTS Enugu experience, and so reply this newsletter, and we would be very grateful. Don’t forget to share this newsletter to your family, friends, and even enemies, and see you guys in the next one.

Byeeeee!
