Your mental health matters...
Goodmorning, champ
4 words👍🏽 that was how I left my last job.
And then I saw this

This is how you know it's really a Gen Z thing.
I was being paid to paltry amount a month to literally bring the angels to Earth because at some point I wondered why I was in marketing and trying to run codes based on my bosses order.
In his words “watch this Python video you'll learn something from it”😂
At that point it was either I depart from my job or I just lose it.
This was because adding to the fact that I still had my department to deal with, before this period of my life I had not had discussions surrounding mental health.
But if there's one thing I've learnt growing up is that ....”It can't be me” or “it can't happen to me” Really happens to you in the next 5 minutes because I really wondered why people complained about mental health before until I had to combine my job with my department. A major factor is that I never fully understood what my mental health was about though.
So I'm asking you today…
How is your mental health?

Living and growing up in Nigeria has really made us settle for the bare minimum and “e go dey alright”.
But that's not how it's supposed to be. Because when you are taking everything to be “just alright” it just keeps getting worse.
And I'm all about “the grind” and “the process”, the “I must win” mentality.
What if doing this with a low and already deteriorating mental health? The answer is your chances of winning also drops.
All this to be summed up simply as; Your efficiency as a person is severely affected by your current state of mind. You need to ask yourself the question, How am I really doing?
You are not the sole focus of your life too, you have loved ones and colleagues you care for. Even when you don't know how to solve their problems, be there for them. That is the least you could do.
See ya tomorrow, and be at one with yourself.
